Hardee Fresh: This renovation of an abandoned hospital building in Wauchula, Florida was transformed into the ~65,000 SF flagship indoor grow facility for Hardee Fresh. It is the only certified organic vertical farm in the US. The microclimates allow for perfectly controlled temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide levels so they can grow fresh produce year-round. Their sustainable farming practices protect the water, soil, and natural resources while lowering their carbon footprint. A 20,000 SF metal building addition was designed to connect the grow facility to an existing outparcel structure.
